Dr. Peter Pellegrini is founder and an author on DGD. Dr. Pellegrini has a passion for cosmetic and high quality restorative dentistry.  Most contemporary techniques focus on the clinician rather than the patient. New-age materials are developed for ease of use or time-saving efforts for the operator rather than the quality of results for the patient. That is why Dr. Pellegrini would like to share his efforts with other dentists. He believes that the patient should be considered before affluence.  His focus includes rubber dam isolation, digital dentistry, biomimetic bonding techniques, and smile design among others. Although Dr. Pellegrini does not consider himself a “biomimetic dentist”, he believes that blending these techniques with more traditional mentalities creates a unique patient-first mindset that is worth discussion.
